Women's Circle: Healing The Sister Wound

Join us at the Balancing Owl Yoga Studio for a healing women's circle. Together we will engage in meditation, ritual, crafting, journaling and other thoughtful expressions. If you have been looking for support, collective wisdom, and connection with other women, we welcome you with open arms.

The sister wound is the divide between women who live in patriarchal societies. It rears its head through the judgment, contempt, exclusion, and jealousy of other women. Instead of viewing another woman as a sister, we see her as an enemy or competition. This sense of alienation keeps women fighting each other, rather than fighting a larger system of inequality and oppression.

It’s only by being in a relationship with other women that we can start to see, challenge, and ultimately heal the sister wound. Here in a safe and accepting environment, we will cultivate belonging, listen to one another, and enjoy the company of women.

This is a collaborative space, please come ready to reflect and share. No yoga experience required, all supplies provided. This workshop is in-person at the studio and limited to 10 participants.

Fee: $40 (10% off automatically applied for members). *If you have financial concerns about attending, please contact the studio.
